History of Program
The HES Robotics Team started in 2018 and was spearheaded by Mrs. Heather Pendley. The team is made up of 5th and 6th-grade students. In the first year, only seven students applied (four 6th graders and three 5th graders). The next year, over 30 students applied, with only eight being selected. For the 2020-2021 school year, the robotics team could not compete due to COVID. Each year has been exciting and has given our students new learning experiences to last a lifetime. We are proud of the accomplishments of our robotics team and look forward to what the future holds!
